
REV Bus&Truck, the bus, coach and truck retrofit subsidiary of the REV Mobilities group, the leader in the sector in France, has acquired the retrofit activities of GreenMot at the Villefranche-sur-Saône Commercial Court, following its receivership. The IVECO Crossway REV Bus&Truck in operation at the 2024 24 Heures of Le Mans The acquisition involves the acquisition of CNRV-approved kit solutions for IVECO Crossway Euro 6 and IVECO Crossway Low Entry Euro 5 coaches.
REV Bus&Truck has also taken over all current commercial and supplier contracts and retained the 20 employees and service providers dedicated to retrofitting. This major operation benefits from the strategic support of the Maurin Group, a major player in automotive and heavy vehicle distribution in France, Belgium, and Spain, and now the majority shareholder of REV Bus&Truck.
This partnership secures a multi-million euros investment, intended to support the industrialization of processes, the development of products such as the Mercedes Intouro, and the structuring of a reliable and sustainable supply chain. The general and operational management of REV Bus&Truck is led by Bertrand Berger and Olivier Marchegay, two recognized professionals in the transport, production, logistics, and industrialization sectors. REV Bus&Truck plans to move to a new industrial site in the Lyon region in the coming months and hire around ten new employees before the end of 2025.
